Tasting the Joy of Heaven

March 8, 1997

This is a very important story, this is the beginning of the millennium of celebration and joy and ecstasy of creation and god. The Summum Bonum.
It is so simple to pull your consciousness out of chaos, into the oneness.

Corky: Ok, is everybody settled? Everybody have their nectar and settled? Now, our mode of religious worship is different than others. We respect everybody else's mode of religious worship just exactly like ours, and their free exercise of religion. In the Catholic Church, when the priest blesses the wine, he's the only one who gets to drink it, the blood of Christ. Because he transformed wine into the blood of Christ. But in our religious worship, the transformation starts as it enters the door. And as it goes into the container, it is part of the religious worship, and it continues on, and it becomes part of you. And there are twenty-seven publications that we will do (and we've only done seven so far, and the seven are here), and they are for twenty-seven different forms of meditation, as you continue to awaken you will be taught those meditations, and how to do those things. So, we'll begin.

I'd like to thank everybody for coming. And we'll begin with a silent meditation. What you want to do, is you want to listen to the "in and out" of the vibrations of the bell. There is an in and out that takes place within the ring; it is not a constant tone, you'll notice... it goes in... and goes out... the "to and fro of the swing of the pendulum," as it speaks in the book, or in the teachings. The two opposites. And so listen to that, and then just listen to your silence.

Was everybody able to notice the in and the out of the bell? It wasn't a constant ringing, like a solid tone, it was an in and an out. Tonight we are doing the sacrament of meditation, initially, and then you have the sacrament of transformation. And what transformation means is change. It means evolution, it means progression. It means all of those things. We never are the same way as we were yesterday, is what the beauty of creation is. Because we always grow in some form or another. We change, we evolve, we progress, and we transform. The predicament in the whole situation is, how do we deal emotionally and physically with the change? In comes the law of compensation. When you're a teenager, or a very young adult, you have a lack of wisdom, and when you are aged, you sacrifice the body, and the activity, and the lack of wisdom of the teenager, for wisdom of life and experience, and evolution and progression, transformation and change. There is compensation in all things. It's the balance of the scales. Tonight we're going to talk about the Summum Bonum, and Amon.

It's very interesting that in the world, and Christianity, and to a certain extent in Judaism and Islam, and in Buddhism and Hinduism, that there has been picked a time for a great transformation, or change or beginning. The philosopher Socrates, and Kant, and Nostradamus, they are pointing to this year of 2000, or somewhere in between, to the beginning of something; something is going to take place, a transformation, something is going to happen. People feel that it is coming. It's a rush coming on them in their motherhood, in their fatherhood, in their business, in their religion, in their philosophy, in their inner soul. It's coming on them; they can feel it, besides it being spoken. Some religious leaders, some professors of philosophy would predict it to be a devastation, would predict it to be a destruction. The Summum Bonum is of creation, not of destruction. Nothing shall be destroyed, but all things shall be reconciled. There is a perfection within everything. Everyone is right. Everyone is telling the truth to their capability of seeing it, and awakening to it. I would ask, plead, beg, crawl, grovel for you to read our signs out front: "It is the beginning of the millennium of reconciliation." Of all of the multiple souls coming back together as the one soul, for you all are God. And all of them out there are god also, they just don't realize it. And that's ok, that's part of the reconciliation. It's very interesting that the pyramid was built here in Salt Lake City. It's very interesting that it says in the bible that in the top of the mountains in that year, in that time of the new beginning of the new creation, it will be in the top of the mountains. It's very interesting that the prophet Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, led those searching for a reconciliation with god to the top of the mountains. It's very interesting that the pope predicts the change, or the reconciliation and the unification of all those churches that broke off of the Catholic church. It's very interesting that the Dali Lama of Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, says the same thing. It's very interesting that all of the masters are saying that there is going to be a reconciliation. Now we do have a few dissenters that believe in destruction. But as it says in the Doctrine and Covenants of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, section 32 of the Doctrine and Covenants, it says that the Summum Bonum is higher than all of the priesthood, and all of the power of the church. Read the sign out front, and read what's on the wall.

There is no destruction going to take place. There is a reconciliation. There is a marriage of all souls back into the one, and this is the beginning of it. It was planted in 1975, and you may not be here to see it to its culmination, it may take a thousand years to build this pyramid into one as magnificent as the one that was built over at Atlantis. You've never seen a pyramid like they built at Atlantis. You think the ones in Egypt are large? Or on some of the other planets in this one universe? There is a continuum, let us call it a council of gods. The gods of all the religions. And the continuum is there to fulfill all the needs of the diversity of all possibility of creation. And the continuum has decided this is the time for the reconciliation on this particular planet. Now that doesn't affect all those other vegetables out there on the other universes that are still growing. Planet Earth is a farm for souls to awaken, and to blossom into a flower, and to become part of the consciousness of creation itself. There are planets behind us, there are planets ahead of us. There are planets with streets of gold, and mansions, and the gods of those planets fulfill the desires and all the possibilities of those who desire streets of gold, and servants and mansions. But those gods are also part of the continuum. And those gods have agreed that this is the time, on this planet, for the Summum Bonum... again... as it has been in the past, to reconcile all philosophy and all religions back into the creation. Because everything came out of the creation; as the bell takes us in... we come out.

I would ask every one of you to read about the Summum Bonum in the Doctrine and Covenants of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. And I would ask every one of you to read the book of Mormon, because we are all religions in one. It is one thing, we're all one person. Within us are the two opposites, the male and the female, and when they join together, they become the one, which is the ecstasy of God. The reconciliation is the millennium of celebration, joy, and ecstasy with God. It is so simple to pull your consciousness out of chaos, into the oneness. Be who you are. Don't let anyone tell you how to believe. Because God is inside of every one of you, go there for your answer.

There's this really interesting story, that I never realized how important it was until 1975. I was a missionary for the LDS Church, and I read this book [Book of Mormon] probably 20 times in the '60's, and I never realized how important this story is. And since Su is the best reader... I think it is in chapter 24, yeah, Alma 24. You know, a lot of people sometimes take one little verse out of scripture, and they try to build their foundation on a needle. You know what I would suggest you do? Do like our wonderful brother, read everything. Touch everything. Touch every religion, touch every philosophy, they are all saying the exact same thing. And before you start reading, I'm going to put a little marker here in case it slams shut, and just read the whole chapter so that nobody leaves anything out. But before we get started here, I'm going to do something... Su is going to read that whole chapter out of the Book of Mormon for us. This is a very important story, this is the beginning of the millennium of celebration and joy and ecstasy of creation and god. The Summum Bonum.

Su: "The Lamanites come against the people of God — The Anti-Nephi-Lehies rejoice in Christ and are visited by angels — They choose to suffer death rather than to defend themselves — More Lamanites are converted.

1 And it came to pass that the Amalekites and the Amulonites and the Lamanites who were in the land of Amulon, and also in the land of Helam, and who were in the land of Jerusalem, and in fine, in all the land round about, who had not been converted and had not taken upon them the name of Anti-Nephi-Lehi, were stirred up by the Amalekites and by the Amulonites to anger against their brethren.

2 And their hatred became exceedingly sore against them, even insomuch that they began to rebel against their king, insomuch that they would not that he should be their king; therefore, they took up arms against the people of Anti-Nephi-Lehi.

3 Now the king conferred the kingdom upon his son, and he called his name Anti-Nephi-Lehi.

4 And the king died in that selfsame year that the Lamanites began to make preparations for war against the people of God.

5 Now when Ammon and his brethren..."

Corky: Would you read that again?

Su: "Now when Ammon and his brethren and all those who had come up with him saw the preparations of the Lamanites to destroy their brethren, they came forth to the land of Midian, and there Ammon met all his brethren; and from thence they came to the land of Ishmael that they might hold a council with Lamoni and also with his brother Anti-Nephi-Lehi, what they should do to defend themselves against the Lamanites.

6 Now there was not one soul among all the people who had been converted unto the Lord that would take up arms against their brethren; nay, they would not even make any preparations for war; yea, and also their king commanded them that they should not.

7 Now, these are the words which he said unto the people concerning the matter: I thank my God, my beloved people, that our great God has in goodness sent these our brethren, the Nephites, unto us to preach unto us, and to convince us of the traditions of our wicked fathers.

8 And behold, I thank my great God that he has given us a portion of his Spirit to soften our hearts, that we have opened a correspondence with these brethren, the Nephites.

9 And behold, I also thank my God, that by opening this correspondence we have been convinced of our sins, and of the many murders which we have committed.

10 And I also thank my God, yea, my great God, that he hath granted unto us that we might repent of these things, and also that he hath forgiven us of those our many sins and murders which we have committed, and taken away the guilt from our hearts through the merits of his Son."

Corky: I always interrupt. There are murders of many kinds. When you're driving down the freeway, there is a murder of the other driver; if you're driving intoxicated, and you kill them. There's a responsibility for everybody in society to be conscious. There's a murder that can take place by not being aware, and they call it accidental homicide. Who knows the term for it? Involuntary manslaughter, if you were not awake. There is a murder that takes place when you try to crush someone else's belief or philosophy. There's a murder when you speak behind someone's back in a destructive way. There's a murder when you do something to your own self by allowing hatred to come within you. There's a murder that takes place when you get into an argument, saying "no." There's a murder that takes place when you take a position to become a foe of any statement or consciousness. Those are all part of the degrees of murder.

Su: [continues]

11 And now behold, my brethren, since it has been all that we could do, (as we were the most lost of all mankind) to repent of all our sins and the many murders which we have committed, and to get God to take them away from our hearts, for it was all we could do to repent sufficiently before God that he would take away our stain —

12 Now, my best beloved brethren, since God hath taken away our stains, and our swords have become bright, then let us stain our swords no more with the blood of our brethren.

13 Behold, I say unto you, Nay, let us retain our swords that they be not stained with the blood of our brethren; for perhaps, if we should stain our swords again they can no more be washed bright through the blood of the Son... "

Corky: Did you notice that he said that they're not going to do away with any part of themselves, that they're going to transform themselves?

Su: "...through the blood of the Son of our great God, which shall be shed for the atonement of our sins.

14 And the great God has had mercy on us, and made these things known unto us that we might not perish; yea, and he has made these things known unto us beforehand, because he loveth our souls as well as he loveth our children; therefore, in his mercy he doth visit us by his angels, that the plan of salvation might be made known unto us as well as unto future generations.

15 Oh, how merciful is our God! And now behold, since it has been as much as we could do to get our stains taken away from us, and our swords are made bright, let us hide them away that they may be kept bright, as a testimony to our God at the last day, or at the day that we shall be brought to stand before him to be judged, that we have not stained our swords in the blood of our brethren..."

Corky: May I interrupt for a second? The God that you're going to stand before is inside you. You do it every day, you judge yourselves. But there also are all the other Gods. But the most powerful God is the one that's inside of you. It's you. It's here. It's not someplace in the future or the past, it's now.

Su: "...since he imparted his word unto us and has made us clean thereby.

16 And now, my brethren, if our brethren seek to destroy us, behold, we will hide away our swords, yea, even we will bury them deep in the earth, that they may be kept bright, as a testimony that we have never used them, at the last day; and if our brethren destroy us, behold, we shall go to our God and shall be saved.

17 And now it came to pass that when the king had made an end of these sayings, and all the people were assembled together, they took their swords, and all the weapons which were used for the shedding of man's blood, and they did bury them up deep in the earth.

18 And this they did, it being in their view a testimony to God, and also to men, that they never would use weapons again for the shedding of man's blood;"

Corky: This metaphor doesn't include just a sword. It's a word that could be a sword. It's a position, it's an argument that says "no," it's a resistance against a reconciliation.

Su: "and this they did, vouching and covenanting with God, that rather than shed the blood of their brethren they would give up their own lives; and rather than take away from a brother they would give unto him; and rather than spend their days in idleness they would labor abundantly with their hands.

19 And thus we see that, when these Lamanites were brought to believe and to know the truth, they were firm, and would suffer even unto death rather than commit sin; and thus we see that they buried their weapons of peace, or they buried the weapons of war, for peace.

20 And it came to pass that their brethren, the Lamanites, made preparations for war, and came up to the land of Nephi for the purpose of destroying the king, and to place another in his stead, and also of destroying the people of Anti-Nephi-Lehi out of the land.

21 Now when the people saw that they were coming against them they went out to meet them, and prostrated themselves before them to the earth, and began to call on the name of the Lord; and thus they were in this attitude when the Lamanites began to fall upon them, and began to slay them with the sword.

22 And thus without meeting any resistance, they did slay a thousand and five of them; and we know that they are blessed, for they have gone to dwell with their God.

23 Now when the Lamanites saw that their brethren would not flee from the sword, neither would they turn aside to the right hand or to the left, but that they would lie down and perish, and praised God even in the very act of perishing under the sword —

24 Now when the Lamanites saw this they did forbear from slaying them; and there were many whose hearts had swollen in them for those of their brethren who had fallen under the sword, for they repented of the things which they had done.

25 And it came to pass that they threw down their weapons of war, and they would not take them again, for they were stung for the murders which they had committed; and they came down even as their brethren, relying upon the mercies of those whose arms were lifted to slay them.

26 And it came to pass that the people of God were joined that day by more than the number who had been slain; and those who had been slain were righteous people, therefore we have no reason to doubt but what they were saved.

27 And there was not a wicked man slain among them; but there were more than a thousand brought to the knowledge of the truth; thus we see that the Lord worketh in many ways to the salvation of his people.

28 Now the greatest number of those of the Lamanites who slew so many of their brethren were Amalekites and Amulonites, the greatest number of whom were after the order of the Nehors.

29 Now, among those who joined the people of the Lord, there were none who were Amalekites or Amulonites, or who were of the order of Nehor, but they were actual descendants of Laman and Lemuel.

30 And thus we can plainly discern, that after a people have been once enlightened by the Spirit of God, and have had great knowledge of things pertaining to righteousness... "

Corky: Wait, read that one more time.

Su: "And thus we can plainly discern that after a people have been once enlightened by the Spirit of God, and have had great knowledge of things pertaining to righteousness... "

Corky: Read it one more time.

Su: "And thus we can plainly discern, that after a people have been once enlightened by the Spirit of God, and have had great knowledge of things pertaining to righteousness, and then have fallen away into sin and transgression, they become more hardened, and thus their state becomes worse than though they had never known these things."

Corky: How does everybody feel about that Book of Mormon? Beautiful, isn't it? What a perfect, divine message from creation. Now is the time. It has been prophesized by all of the religions and all the religious leaders. Now's the time. Bury your swords. That doesn't mean that you cannot hold your neck high as your enemy cuts your head off. That doesn't mean that you cannot hold your neck high, as they who would believe themselves to be your enemy (they're really not; it's your brother)... cut your neck off, or your head off. You speak the truth, you speak the reconciliation, you talk of it, you preach it, as they take their sword, and dismember your body. But the soul or the spirit that possesses you when you die is the one, the same one, the exact same one that wakes up the next day. So if you have been awakened, or you are in the awakening, the "first satori" - I would like to use everyone's words, all religions' words - if that's where you are, hold your head high, not in vanity, but to give to your brother, to your sister... your life. For the reconciliation. Some people call it the second coming. Everybody has a different term for it, it is here. You may not see the blossom. There probably will be temples built so big and so huge because of it, and there will be, not probably, that it would amaze you. But the seed is planted, and the seed has died. But nothing dies, it just transforms into the plant. And it's growing, and it is starting, and it's here. Where your attention is, is where you are. Put your attention into God inside of you. Relax. Don't worry about letting go, just relax and put your attention inside of God within you. It is so logical; you could have come from no other place than creation. I mean, who here, tell me, I ask you, who here came from someplace besides creation? I plead with you, tell me which one of you, any of you, came from a different place than all of us together? We all came out of the womb of the mother. Our souls were all born out of the womb of creation. We all have the same mother. Why would we as brothers and sisters have differences? The reconciliation is here. Live it. Become part of it. You owe it to yourself. Give yourself a blessing. The only reason that I am... is to help, to assist the awakening.

Let us rest and relax within it for a moment.

It's wonderful to breathe your souls into my body. In that oneness. It's the peace of all peace. It's the ecstasy of all ecstasy. It's the continuum. It has no beginning, and it has no end. Only you can keep yourself from being within it. Be a disciple, with your sword buried deep within the earth. Give everything to your brother. From a kind word, to your head standing high if they want to cut it off, as your testimony to your mother, the womb of creation. For the mother gives birth, gives life. It is the age and the millennium of creation and birth. It's here. Bury your sword, and share it with a gift of whatever anyone wants from you. Never, never impose it upon anyone, for unless their heart is ready to receive, they cannot take the gift. But give them what they desire, even if it be your life. Because there is no such thing as death. There is no beginning and no end, it always has been.

I breathe on you the peace of the Summum Bonum. I put it within your hearts, but only you can decide to turn to God and Creation and the womb, for it's a gift, it's not a requirement or a demand or a statement.

[Places his hand on the altar bell] It rang without anything touching it. There is nothing inside it. I can touch it with my mind, it will ring within your hearts.

[Rings the bell] And it stops instantaneously when the cause is taken away. Let's order pizza!

[After break]

Corky: Cats are really very, very interesting if you give yourself an opportunity to get close to them. They will share their soul with you.

Everything together is the whole truth, it's the Summum Bonum.

Everybody listen for a minute. We're going to do a new book on Thursday nights, and it's called "Come Follow Me." It's one of the best books that you could ever hear read by a master, Osho. And you cannot take any of the books off the shelf without a check out fee for $100.00, and so Su is going to take one book. You don't need a book, all you've gotta do is listen to it. The reason being, is that there are only 13 copies in existence of that book, and so we want to treasure them. So don't worry about getting a book, just come to class and listen to it.

And this brings up another point. Let's ring the bell and do a meditation before pizza arrives. In the transformation, in the evolution, in the eternal progression, every one of you have orgasms. Orgasms of every emotion that you have. Sexual orgasms, mental orgasms, whatever they be. But there is an orgasm that you will have that is... I would call it the "Summum Bonum orgasm." Within it is the maximum amount of pleasure and the maximum amount of pain at the exact same time. How many have ever experienced it? The maximum amount of pleasure or joy or ecstasy, and the maximum amount of pain, I won't mention the other things, at the same time... in the very same moment, they become one. And it is a portal. It's a portal of experience of the spirit that allows you to progress, evolve, transform to an unfolding of consciousness. Because in the orgasms, a realization takes place. That the greatest pain and the greatest pleasure are the same thing. I'm here to help you through it. Now, to pay the bills around here, I have to go to California to work to pay the phone bills and the bills. And so I'm not here all the time. I would love to be here all the time. But we don't have enough participants in helping it go, and so I will stick my neck out there as long as it needs to be to do all that's necessary to make it continue to grow. And we have people here, Al and Lenny, Su and Ron, and Donna, and many others that have decided to make themselves disciples, and start the new millennium.

I will be here as much as I can, as much as possible for the transformation that takes place, when the two opposites come together: the greatest pain and the greatest pleasure on every level of consciousness. But until we are able to not go out of existence - because we're not able to pay for our existence, you know - I have to leave town for several weeks at a time to generate enough food to supply the hungry. Okay. Anybody with any profound statements, questions, or answers or whatever? Open forum, before the pizzas arrive. Edith, did you have something to say?

Edith: When you asked us the question on who comes from a different source, or if we are all coming from the same source, from the same family... I just wanted to show you my necklace. It's from the goddess, the original goddess of love. She is nursing a baby with one breast, and with the other, the people in the world. And I was going to give this necklace to somebody, but I don't know if that somebody wants it. And to whoever wants it, can have it.

Corky: Why don't we put it on the altar, and leave it there.

Edith: I was going to give it to Gracey. But I wasn't sure if she wanted it. Would you like it?

Gracey: Yes, I would love it.

Corky: That's very nice. We all do come from the same womb. There is one creation. And isn't it funny how everybody gets caught up in being different, but that is the way that it is because of the paradox. But there always is a reconciliation. If there is a distribution, there has to be a gathering. Automatically it happens. Because the distribution creates the reconciliation in the gathering. The war creates the peace. While you are here in this particular incarnation, enjoy it. Be part of the reconciliation. Don't miss it. Put your attention on it. You are so ashamed of yourself, you say why me? Keep your sword beautiful and shiny, don't bury it. Forgive yourself. Forgive yourself. Relax. Forgive yourself. And begin the birth of reconciliation in this new millennium. For yourself. Hold yourself. Love yourself. That's the message of all the masters, and the continuum voted and said it was time for the Summum Bonum to tell it to you. It is a unanimous decision, I guarantee you, it is happening. You can feel it. There is no other place you can feel like this. They've called it the messenger of peace. It has a million names, all meaning the same thing; your union with god. It happens inside of you. It's better than anything that you could find out there. There is no herb, no plant, no words, no material thing that is in the same ball park. You could own a whole block of gold paved streets. You could have a million square foot mansion, and it could not give you the peace that you feel right now. It's the reconciliation on all levels. It's your reconciling within yourself. It's you reconciling with your brothers and sisters. It's the bringing together of all the individuals into the one. That came out of the womb. There is no price you can put on it. You cannot buy this. You cannot donate enough to receive it. It's a gift. What was that like Kevin?

Kevin: It's probably one of the most special gifts I've received, just knowing that we have you there to help us along.

Corky: It's in you. Don't necessarily be too concerned with me. It's in your awakening. It can only happen within you. And that awakening makes you one with the whole. Should we do some meditation and eat pizza? I think we're done for today.
