Poplar Grove CTC is an expansion project of Summum Welfare Industries (SWI). SWI is a subsidiary of Summum, a non-profit organization, and since 1985, SWI has been providing computer related services to community members.
Poplar Grove CTC's purpose will be to assist disadvantaged people lacking necessary resources by providing them with free or low-cost access to computers and computer-related technology such as the Internet. At PGCTC, children and adults will receive hands on training and learning opportunities that encourage exploration and discovery. Adults will benefit by gaining qualifications for job opportunities that normally would not be available to them.
